Can I take Primolut Nor if I take Atywia contraception?

Can I take Primolut Nor if I take Atywia contraception? This is my first use of hormonal contraception, I have been taking pills since 1 day of bleeding. Previously, for 2 months I had bleeding, inhibited by Primolut and Exacyl. After discontinuation of medication, bleeding appeared, according to the doctor's recommendation, I began to take Atywia. Today is the 4th day, the bleeding is still abundant plus a little diarrhea, I am concerned about the effectiveness of Atyvia.

Thank you for sharing your case. I understand your concerns about the effectiveness of hormonal contraception and the abundance of bleeding and loose stools. It is important to remember that each organism may react differently to the introduction of new hormonal drugs, such as Atyvia. There are no contraindications to the use of the drugs listed in the question at the same time. However, since Atywia and Primolut-Nor are only available on prescription, the final decision on their administration and dosage regimen should be made by the doctor. Please do not change the dosage on your own. During the first month of using hormonal contraception, the body may adapt to hormonal changes, which can affect bleeding and side effects. Often in the initial period of using the drug, there may be irregular bleeding, which should stabilize over time. The abundance of bleeding during the initial period of using Atywia may be associated with the transition of the hormonal axis to birth control pills and changes in the uterus. However, if the bleeding is very heavy and diarrhea persists, I encourage you to consult a doctor to assess your health situation. It is important that you continue to take your Atywia tablets regularly as directed, even if you are bleeding. Using the drug as planned is important to achieve adequate contraceptive protection and stabilize the bleeding situation. The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja Through the gdziepolek.pl service, you can check the availability of Atywia and book it at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/8018/atywia-tabletki-powlekane/apteki?pvid=186034
