How to store birth control pills on a trip to Tunisia in the Sahara?

I have been taking birth control pills for several years. This year I'm going on holiday to Tunisia. One of the optional excursions is a 2-day stay in the Sahara. What if I take birth control pills? Temperatures in the Sahara are very high, will nothing happen to the pills in the backpack? We will sleep in air-conditioned tents, but the whole two days we will be away from the place of accommodation and I do not have the opportunity to leave luggage there with tablets. What is the best thing to do in such a situation?

The main thing is that the tablets are not exposed to direct sunlight. You can store them at the bottom of the backpack in a cosmetic bag. Perhaps a good solution would be to take only two tablets for the duration of the trip, and the remaining tablets should be left at the hotel (cut the tablets from the blister). If they are combined tablets - You can also take a tablet just before going on an optional trip, and another just after returning from the trip, if in fact the backpack will be exposed to solar radiation all the time.
