If my ovaries hurt while taking birth control pills, is protection provided?

Good morning, Takes hormonal contraception, vibin mini. I have been using it as recommended for 5 years. Recently, I feel increased pain in my ovaries, I am already required to visit a gynecologist. Is it possible that the tablets have stopped responding to me and are for example too weak? Despite this, is the pain (like no other side effects) still protected?

Despite the pain in the ovaries, contraceptive protection is maintained. Pain does not mean that the pills work too weakly. Perhaps it is a complication after an infection or has another cause that can be diagnosed only after testing, e.g. transvaginal ultrasound. If you use the tablets regularly, you do not take other medicines that may weaken their effectiveness, the protection is preserved.
