Can vibin mini contraceptive pills cause a decrease in the hormone TSH? Over a year ago I had a TSH over 3,430 and now 1,420 and to be honest, I do not take the dose of thyroid drug correctly and even changed the dosage myself and unfortunately I do not take it regularly. Where can there be such a sudden drop in thyroid hormone? I was on a blood test on the last day of menstruation but I take birth control pills, can it have any effect?

To @Andzia: On the contrary, a reduced amount of free thyroxine may result in an increase in TSH levels.
So, in short, it can underestimate the TSH result? Because I really do not take thyroid pills regularly and the decrease has been considerable for a year

If estrogen is included in the contraceptive pill (e.g. ethinylestradiol in Vibin Mini), it may lead to an increase in the concentration of thyroxine-binding protein, which may result in less free hormone and the need to adjust the dose of thyroid hormones. The dose of hormones should be adjusted by the attending physician (endocrinologist), do not independently introduce modifications in therapy.
