I should have applied the Evra patch on Thursday, but I stuck it on Friday - has the "day of changing the patch" changed?

Hello, After 3 patches I took a week break and there was bleeding, after a week break I should stick the patch on Thursday about evening hours, but I forgot and glued it on Friday (after 7.00) or since I started a new package of patches my patch change to Fri? And will I be protected by patches if I was late with sticking by less than 48 hours?

The first patch should be applied on the so-called "patch change day". If there is a delay, follow the scheme described in the summary of product characteristics: 'The first patch in a new cycle of use should be applied as soon as this is remembered. The "Change of Patch Day" and "Day 1" are then changed. For the first 7 days of the new cycle, you should use a non-hormonal method of contraception. If sexual intercourse occurs during a prolonged interval of more than 7 days in the use of the contraceptive patch, the possibility of conception should be considered." On our website you can check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
