What to do if you lose your vaginal disc?

What to do if my contraceptive ring fell out and I lost it. Tomorrow (Tuesday) would be exactly two weeks from the moment it was inserted. Can I insert a new disc (up to 3 hours after falling out) and count 3 weeks again? Should I put in a new puck and continue counting and take out the puck next week as planned with the first one?

Inserting a new vaginal disc means starting the next three-week period of use. It is worth being aware that this may result in the absence of expected withdrawal bleeding or the occurrence of spots or intercyclic bleeding. If no more than 3 hours have passed between the time the disc falls out and the insertion of a new one, the effectiveness of contraception remains preserved.
