Is it possible to combine Rytmonorm and Asentra?

Good morning. I have a request to answer the question: I take rhythmonorm 150 one tablet in the morning, one in the evening for supraventricular arrhythmias (there are few of them), can I take the drug asentra 50 half a tablet for 7 days and then one for anxiety. The drug was prescribed by a psychiatrist.

Such a combination is not advisable. The sertraline in Asentra increases the effects of propafenone (the active substance in Rytmonorm) and increases the risk of side effects. There may appear, m.in. arrhythmias, a significant drop in blood pressure, convulsions. If, after all, you decide to use such a combination, you should observe the body's reaction, and in case of any disturbing symptoms, consult a doctor.
