Will Venlafaxin work after 8 weeks of use?
Good morning. I take 8weeks of venlafaxin 37.5mg. It's better, but sometimes I have fears and fear of leaving the house alone. Does it certainly work on me or need a higher dose I will add that earlier 11 years I also took it and it was ok But suddenly I stopped and the disease came back probably with double force and so I think that maybe the body has already got used to it and therefore does not work now

If you feel that Venlafaxin does not bring the desired therapeutic effects, you should discuss the dosage of the preparation or change of therapy with your doctor. The full effectiveness of Venlafaxin treatment may develop for 4 weeks or more, depending on the individual characteristics of the patient. Some patients experience a deterioration before improvement is observed. Abrupt discontinuation of venlafaxine may cause adverse reactions, therefore a gradual reduction of the dose is recommended.
