Hello, Since the beginning of June I have been taking alprazolam 0.25 mg as recommended by a psychiatrist, i.e. - 10 days: 1-1-1 -10 days 1/2-1/2-1/2 10 days: 0-1/2-0 Can such a descent from the dose cause side effects. After going down from the highest dose to the lower one, I feel increased anxiety, anxiety and I want to cry more often.

Gradually reducing the dose of the drug significantly reduces the risk of withdrawal effects. This dosing regimen seems to be the most appropriate, but if you still have anxiety symptoms, please consult your doctor. You may need to implement another type of therapy or further diagnostics.
