Can venlafaxine affect appetite?

Can venlafaxine make us taste nothing and we have no appetite? Due to temporary financial problems, I had not taken venlafaxine until yesterday for about a week and my appetite increased & I liked the food better. And I'm curious if it was from the lack of venlafaxine or from withdrawal syndrome I had such an appetite. I will add that other drugs I take are olanzapine, propranolol hydrochloride and levothyroxine and these three I did not run out?

I'm taking the third week of velafaxin, currently at 225, and since then I've been having trouble squeezing a :D sandwich into myself. I wonder how long it will take?

Yes, venlafaxine may affect appetite in some people. Venlafaxine is an antidepressant from the group of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. One of the common side effects of venlafaxine is loss of appetite or decreased appetite. Not all people experience this side effect, and the effect on appetite may vary depending on the body's individual response to the drug. Some may experience a decrease in appetite, while others may not experience any changes in food or even experience increased appetite. At the following link you can get acquainted with the availability of the drug in Polish, in pharmacies connected to our system: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81772/venlectine-kapsulki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki
