For the last weeks I have had 6 patches of Evra without a break, this morning I got my period but it is very weak, even just spotting - is this a cause for concern?

I use contraceptive patches, for the last weeks I had 6 patches in a row without a break, on Thursday I pulled off the 6th patch and started a break this morning I got a period but it is very weak even just spotting. I had all the symptoms of my period, but this period is quite light, which worries me. Is this a cause for concern?

The use of contraceptive patches for two cycles without interruption for withdrawal bleeding may cause cycle disorders (spotting, mid-cycle bleeding). The described symptoms that you have observed may result from the procedure used, but if the patches were glued correctly, there is no reason to worry about lack of effectiveness. On our website you can check the prices and availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
