I use Tialorid, should I stop it in case of gout attack?

Hello. I have been taking Tialorid for four years and have had gout for a week. My big toe hurts in my left foot and it's red. I take painkillers. In the leaflet he writes that the drug should not be used with elevated uric acid. What do I do now? Should I stop taking this medicine and ask my doctor for another medicine? I have a cardiological consultation only in November 2023. Best regards

Thialorid should be used with caution in patients with gout, as it may contribute to the increase of uric acid. In the case of a gout attack, anti-inflammatory drugs and preparations containing, for example, colchicine, are used, which are available on prescription. In order to determine the further management and treatment regimen of gout, please consult a primary care physician. If stationary contact with doctors would be difficult, I enclose information about the possibility of using teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja I encourage you to read the helpful materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-jak-i-kiedy-mozna-odstawic-leki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/dna-moczanowa-jak-leczyc-artretyzm
