Can I take Ashwagandha while taking Qlaira contraceptive pills?

Can I take Ashwagandha while taking Qlaira contraceptive pills? I take birth control pills at 6 a.m. and take Ashwagandha at noon. Does Ashwagandha not interfere with the absorption of tablets? Is 6 hours apart enough and am I protected by contraception?

There are not enough studies on the interaction between Ashwagandha and Qlaira contraceptive pills, so it is not possible to say whether Ashwagandha affects the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. If you take Ashwagandha at noon and the birth control pill at 6 am, then contraceptive protection should be maintained.
