It is not recommended to consume alcohol during therapy. The manufacturer shall state the following: 'As with other psychotropic medicinal products, patients should be advised to avoid alcoholic beverages during treatment with paroxetine. Although paroxetine does not potentiate alcohol-induced psychomotor impairment, concomitant use with alcohol is not recommended."
