The heart shrinks more than 100,000 times per day. It is an excellent pump, which through blood vessels, the total length of which is about 100 km, supplies the body with the right amount of blood. It is very important to keep this system in good condition, as circulatory diseases have become one of the most common causes of death in Poland.
