Desensitization (allergen immunotherapy) is one of the most effective methods of treating inhalation allergy and allergy to insect venom. Therapy consists of injecting the appropriate dose of the allergen under the skin or orally taking the right dose to create immunity. In a pharmacy with a prescription you can buy a desensitizing vaccine, a large part of these drugs are reimbursed preparations. The whole desensitization process can take up to 3 to 5 years.
