Hello. After a colonoscopy, the doctor said I probably had UC and prescribed me three medications to take. Metyped 16mg, Salofalk 500mg 3x2 tablets, plus Salofalk suppositories 1mg. I didn't have strong symptoms of this disease and I'm afraid that I was prescribed Metrped 16mg too soon. From what I've read it wreaks havoc on the body and is a very potent steroid. I'm thinking about stopping. Can someone advise if this is a good idea.

I am 24 years old, I eat healthy, I do not smoke and I drink alcohol occasionally.

I had a lot of stress in June. In July, my stomach hurt and it turned out that I have helicobacter pylori. I used Pylera for 10 days and I had a very hard treatment. Great fatigue, headaches, abdominal pain, etc. After the treatment in the tests it turned out that there was no helicobacter, but the stomach still hurt. I did a gastroscopy and a double reflux (esophageal-gastric and gastro-intestinal) came out. Huge burning, bloated belly, gas, stomach pain. The ultrasound showed nothing. I started taking ipp20 but it did not help so the dose was increased to ipp40 and it was good for about 3 weeks. In September, abdominal pain and a fecal examination was performed for calprotectin. It came out of my bowel disease. The result should be below 50, I was about 150.

Currently 5 days of taking Cortiment Max (1 tablet) Salofalk 500 (2 tablets 3 times a day). Abdominal pain increased, chills, headaches, trembling hands, numbness of the mouth and frequency of bowel movements (absence of diarrhea).

I don't know what to do... Do you continue treatment because it will help me after eg a month or give up because it only gets worse. Help!!!

The drugs I take are ipp20, Cortiment, Salofalk, duspatlin, spasmoline, pregabalin mylan and sodium butyrate supplementation. And in case of pain pyralgina and no spa.

Overall blood tests good, stomach healthy however a lot of bile and this reflux + hernia of the esophagus.

The implementation is very good, I recommend.
