Hello, I am 21 years old, I have been using hormonal contraception for 2.5 years. First, the doctor prescribed me vibin, but after 6 msc (due to mood swings and depressive states) I changed to Vixpo tablets. Already during the use of Vibin, problems with pain during intercourse began. Using Vixpo I also experience depressive states, additionally fatigue, hair loss, frequent headaches. Last year I went to the gynecologist with the problem of vaginal dryness, which caused pain during intercourse. In cytology, I got vaginal atrophy, which I initially treated for a week with Gynoflor globules, but the problem did not disappear. After 2 months, another gynecologist prescribed me Gynoflor, this time for 3 months (36 globules). Every day I lubricated the entrance to the vagina (where it hurt me the most) with ointments with hyaluronic acid, then when the problem did not disappear with ecif gel. Almost a year has passed since then, I still feel pain or significant discomfort with every intercourse. Daily use ectifem. Gynecologists say that it simply poorly tolerates hormones and, unfortunately, such side effects appear. On the last examination, it turned out that I also have erosion (I do not know if its appearance was related to tablets). I am considering stopping pills and using condoms. Currently, it is difficult for me to derive satisfaction from sex, in addition, I have terrible mood swings. However, every gynecologist I visited advises me against this decision. Now I have been offered Jeanine pills. Hence my question, is it worth trying these pills or is it better to discontinue the tablets at all? He is afraid of further side effects.
