I increased the dose of venlafaxine from 75mg to 150mg per day. I take 75mg in the morning and then 75mg in the evening. Is this the right thing to do?

I increased the dose of venlafaxine from 75mg to 150mg per day. I take 75mg in the morning and then 75mg in the evening. I wanted to ask if the doses need to be taken separately, will it have a better effect if I take two tablets at once, i.e. 150mg right away?

Venlafaxine is in the form of prolonged-release capsules, so you will achieve better results using time intervals between doses. Therefore, the proposed dosage regimen is correct. Please remember that any modifications in therapy, including changes in the dosage of the drug, should be made after consultation with the attending physician acquainted in detail with your health condition. If you are unable to get to your doctor, the GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja.
