Despite the use of birth control pills, should I take the "pill after" if intercourse occurred on the 3rd day of taking antibiotics?

I have been taking drosfemine regularly for years. I took antibiotics until Thursday. On Saturday I had unprotected sex. Should I take a pill after?

In such a situation, there is a risk of pregnancy. The antibiotic may interfere with the contraceptive pill and reduce their effectiveness. Therefore, it is recommended to use additional contraception throughout the period of antibiotic use and for 7 days after stopping taking the antibiotic. Since the "after pill" is a prescription-only drug, the final decision on its use should be made by the doctor. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleadvice with your gynecologist here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem
