Can Polsart 80 cause inflammation of the urinary tract? I have been taking Polsart 80 for several years but for about 3 years I have frequent urinary tract infections, recently I have been taking the sixth antibiotic and the inflammation does not pass. For several years I also have an increase in potassium levels, Can it be from Polsart 80 ?

Patients taking Polsart have reported urinary tract infections (including cystitis) as an adverse reaction, but this was 'uncommon'. Hyperkalaemia can also be an adverse drug reaction, especially if other medicines are used. Do you use any other medications? However, it cannot be ruled out whether Polsart is not associated with frequent infections. Do you not suffer from other diseases, e.g. kidney diseases? If you think that the ailments described by you may be related to the use of Polsart, it is necessary to report it to your doctor or do it yourself. About why and how to report such side effects that have not been previously described, we wrote here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow Article that may be of interest: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/zakazenie-drog-moczowych
