When using Zahron, cholesterol was lowered, what does this mean?

Good morning, I have been taking Zahron 20mg for over 4 months. As of July 2022, total cholesterol was 267, HDL 35, LDL 191, not LDL 232, triglycerides 203. In February 2023, total cholesterol was 116, HDL 36, LDL 58, not LDL 80, triglycerides 109. What does that mean? Is there nothing to worry about and continue to take Zahron 20 mg once a day as before, or should I do something about it?

The interpretation of test results and possible change of prescription drug or dose is dealt with by the doctor. According to the data you presented, the introduction of Zahron into the treatment affected the results of blood tests. There was a decrease in total cholesterol, LDL and non-LDL and triglycerides. This means that the drug Zahron has done its job and it works. Do not interfere with the dosage of the drug yourself, in order to discuss further therapy, please contact your doctor.
