It is not recommended to use dietary supplements with ashwagandha while taking antidepressants and anxiolytics, such as Paxtin. Indian ginseng can increase the effect of such drugs, and in combination with those that, like paroxetine (Paxtin), affect the concentration of serotonin in the brain, even contribute to the occurrence of serotonin syndrome.
