Do I need to take Rosutrox, or will the diet itself help me?

Hello everyone. I am 40 years old, the doctor advised me to take resutrox because there is fat in my arteries. My test results are triglycerides 100 and non-HDL cholesterol 179. CHolesterol hdl 58 LDL cholesterol 161 I read a lot about the drug resutrox and there are not very good reviews .my question is whether I have to take it or go on a strict diet and it would help

Most likely, your doctor prescribed Rosutrox. The preparation contains rosuvastatin, a cholesterol-lowering substance. By improving the lipid profile, the drug reduces the risk of life-threatening cardiovascular complications. Lifestyle change is indicated in any case when the lipid profile is abnormal, but it is not always sufficient. Currently, LDL cholesterol levels are considered to be a key parameter and therapeutic goal. Depending on the size of this parameter, the total cardiovascular risk is also taken into account (assessed by the doctor). If it is elevated and the LDL level is also high, the patient should be recommended both lifestyle change and simultaneous pharmacotherapy.
