Can menstrual disorders occur after using Escapelle?
In the previous cycle I used emergency contraception Escapelle, I got my period. Currently (a month later) my period is 23 days late, I had spotting, I also took a test and it was negative. After using this tablet, can I not have so long, or not have a period during one of the cycles? The cycle where I took the pill was 52 days (the period was late because of the tablet), the current one lasts 59 days.

After using Escapelle tablet, the planned date of menstruation may be postponed and the menstrual cycle may be disturbed. No long-term studies are available on the effect of the drug on the menstrual cycle and it is suggested that this is a short-term effect. Other factors, m.in travel or stressful situations, may also affect the change in cycle length.
