Can I use Welbox instead of Zyban?
Hello, I got a prescription for Zyban to help me quit smoking, unfortunately it is not available. In the ateka I was offered a Welbox. Can I use it interchangeably for this purpose and in the same doses as Zyban? In the leaflet he does not write anything about quitting smoking, only about depression. Customarily 1 tablet in the morning, Zyban after 3 days 2 tablets.

Welbox contains the same active substance and in the same dose as Zyban, and therefore has a similar effect. The lack of information about quitting smoking in the leaflet results from the fact that the drug under this name has not been registered in such an indication, but just like the currently unavailable Zyban, it can be used in it. However, Welbox has a slightly different release profile than Zyban, so its use and dosage should be consulted with your doctor.
