Good morning. From exactly 3 weeks I take Agomelatine for the night. Previously, I take Abilify and after 2 hours Ketilept and just Agomelatine. At first, the drug was neutral for me, and now I feel a deterioration of mood, pessimistic thinking and sleepless nights. Is this a normal effect of the drug or after 3 weeks you can say that this is not the drug for me?

Medications such as Agomelatine usually start to work after about two weeks, but sometimes also later. At the beginning of the use of antidepressants, some negative emotions may increase (e.g. thoughts of suicide or self-harm). The assessment of the patient's well-being lies with the psychiatrist, who has all the necessary information at his disposal. If you feel mood worse instead of feeling better, you should contact your doctor who will interpret how to understand these symptoms: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja Difficulty sleeping (insomnia) may occur as side effects in up to 1 in 10 people using Agomelatine. Sometimes the side effects are more severe at the beginning of treatment, but if sleepless nights are unacceptable and hinder normal functioning, it is worth talking to your doctor about the possibility of using symptomatic medications if treatment continues. I enclose additional information about medicines - prescription preparations can be reserved at GdziePoLek and collected stationary upon presentation of the prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/substancje/agomelatyna https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/1334/abilify-tabletki/apteki/w-warszawie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/40030/ketilept-25-mg-tabletki-powlekane/apteki/w-warszawie Perhaps our video will also be helpful:
