I was prescribed cycloprogynova pills but I felt unwell, fullness, insomnia, palpitations. The doctor prescribed me patches of the sequi system, unfortunately - there are headaches and a feeling of tightness in the chest. I do not have embolism, thrombotic disease. However, I have mitral valve prolapse and compensated supraventricular arrhythmia. Do my symptoms preclude the use of HRT or should I try other preparations? Regards Anita

The symptoms you describe do not exclude the use of hormone replacement therapy. Sometimes choosing the right preparation requires time and patience. I encourage you to visit the gynecologist again, who will propose an alternative to the previously used preparations. This can also be done online: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja You can read more about HRT in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/htz-hormonalna-terapia-zastepcza-w-menopauzie
