Is it possible to stop taking hypertension medication on your own?

Good morning, the cardiologist found spontaneous hypertension without any anamnesis only after an ultrasound of the heart. I have been prescribed telmix 80 1x in the morning, nedal after half a tablet in the morning and evening and setal after 1 in the morning and evening. The pressure has dropped strongly, about 110-115, sometimes lower, but still often I feel palpitations, such nervous as before taking the exam, only it appears for no reason. Can I stop taking any medicine? I am 47 years old and these are my first medications that I have been taking every day for over 1.5 months.

Do not stop using the medicines mentioned in the question without consultation. If, despite stabilizing your blood pressure, you experience worrying complaints that may suggest abnormal heart function, you should seek medical advice again. You may need to perform further diagnostics. I also encourage you to regularly measure your blood pressure and heart rate (1-2 times a day at the same time) and record the measurement results. For a visit to a cardiologist, it is worth taking the results of measurements with you. This will allow the doctor to decide on the continuation of the prescribed therapy or its modification. You can read more about heart problems in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/problemy-z-sercem Below I also send a link to the analysis of blood pressure monitors, which may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jaki-cisnieniomierz-wybrac
