Can I be pregnant despite bleeding?

Recently I had unusual bleeding - on the 1st day it was spotting with a single, larger blood clot, the next day the bleeding was quite normal, moderately abundant, the next day I had spotting and blood clot again. On the last day there was already a slight spotting. Was it implantation bleeding? Are these signs of pregnancy?
