If I use Orlifique active tablets correctly, without additional protection, can I have intercourse even when taking placebo tablets? Can the fact that hormones are not used these days reduce the effectiveness? And after the correct reception of the whole blister, can I have intercourse immediately after starting a new blister (1 day of a new blister)?

To @Ania: No, root canal treatment and filling the tooth with a healing dressing will not affect the effect of the contraceptive pills.
And can root canal treatment and filling the tooth with a therapeutic dressing until the next visit reduce the effectiveness?

To @Ania: The described situations do not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill.
And if the tablet stopped in my esophagus for a moment when swallowing and I had to drink it again, can this situation reduce the effectiveness?
And if I have a scanty withdrawal bleeding (it's usually more heavy than it is now), is there a bad sign? And can I drink alcohol immediately after or just before taking the active tablet? Will alcohol drunk, for example, 10 minutes before or 10 minutes after taking the tablet reduce the effectiveness?

To @Ania: You can - in the filtered water there may be traces of carbon that will not affect the absorption of hormones from the tablets.
And can I drink active tablets with filtered water (in the water there are small particles of activated carbon from the filter) and I heard that activated carbon weakens the effectiveness of tablets

Placebo tablets are used to get into the habit of taking the pills at the same time every day. It does not matter at what time we take them, but it is worth using them at about the same time as the previous active tablets. Some packs of birth control pills have only 21 active pills in the package, instead of placebo pills you just take a 7-day break. Unfortunately, then it is often forgotten to start the next package after 7 days. That is why you have placebo pills, to learn the regularity of the use of the drug - which is extremely important in the effectiveness of pregnancy prevention by birth control pills. The second question: "Even making sure on the first day of starting a new blister, can I have intercourse and do not need any additional protection?" This is how you are protected with each subsequent blister started - if you use the tablets as directed.
And if my regular time of taking the pills is 21:30, do I also have to take placebo tablets at this time? Will something happen if the placebo tablets are taken about 30min-1h later? And making sure on the first day of starting a new blister I can have intercourse and do not need any additional protection?

The use of contraceptive pills is a sufficient method of contraception if they are used as directed (regularly every 24 hours, not skipping doses). You are also protected when using placebo tablets. The use of placebo pills serves to mimic our natural cycle and induce bleeding during these days. You can also have intercourse after starting the next blister. However, when one of the tablets is missed, read the leaflet and then it is usually recommended to use additional protection for about 7 days. It should be remembered that none of the methods of contraception is 100% effective. Nevertheless, combined tablets have one of the higher levels of effectiveness.
