Will the Escapelle tablet taken at 71 hours after intercourse protect me from pregnancy?

Good morning If I take the tablet the day after escapelle on the 3rd day after intercourse and exactly swallow this tablet in 71 hours after intercourse, it will somehow protect me from pregnancy? Is the 3rd day too late?

Escapelle tablet, in order to be effective, should be used within 72 hours of intercourse. A tablet taken at 71 hours can prevent pregnancy. The active substance of this preparation is levonorgestrel. It inhibits the release of the egg by the ovaries, delaying ovulation, and also prevents the fertilization of the already released egg. The preparation is intended for the prevention of pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or in case of failure of the contraceptive method used. The drug does not terminate an ongoing pregnancy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27577/escapelle-tabletki/apteki Additional helpful materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/tabletka-po-czyli-antykoncepcja-awaryjna https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/tabletka-po
