If I did not immediately put the cap on the pregnancy test according to the instructions, can the result be falsified?

If I did not immediately give the overlay on the pregnancy test (stream of urine) when I did it, but put on the cap after 2 minutes as the test lay, is the result falsified or nothing happened?

A test can only be considered reliable if it has been performed in accordance with the instructions.
