If I have a burning sensation and dry mouth after Daktarin Oral, should I stop taking the medicine?
Good morning, After two weeks of using the drug nystatin on the tongue, the doctor recommended, for treatment, the use of the drug daktarin - oral for 10 - 14days 2 x a day. After the first application, I feel an unpleasant burning sensation all the time, and at night also dryness and viscosity of the tongue (I did not have such ailments after nystatin). Should I continue to use dactarin or stop. I can have contact with the doctor only in a week. Please advise.

It may be worth including a moisturizer, e.g. a spray with vitamins. In my opinion, there are no grounds to stop treatment with Daktarin - unless the burning intensifies.
