Does grapefruit juice reduce the effectiveness of Slinda hormonal tablets?

Good morning, I just unintentionally drank lemonade which had the addition of grapefruit literally took a sip and while swallowing I realized that it was the taste of grapefruit ... 15 minutes earlier I took a slinda tablet. Should I glow one more pill? Could this weaken the effect of contraception? Do you additionally protect yourself and possibly for how long?

In this case, there is no need to take an additional pill, and the contraceptive effectiveness has been preserved. First of all, the possible amount of grapefruit juice is negligible in this case. In addition, it should be noted that the ingredients found in grapefruit can lead to a decrease in the metabolism of hormonal agents, as they inhibit specific enzymes in our liver. This means that in this case we are not talking about the lack of contraceptive effect, but possibly increasing the likelihood of side effects of the drug. Once again, however, I will emphasize that due to the small amount of lemonade consumed, no changes in the effect of the drug should be expected.
