Hello, I take Vixpo tablets. I took too many birth control pills this month. I think that from the spare blister I took somehow 5 additional tablets or 4. So I took a total of 28 active tablets. On placebo days, I didn't get my period and did a pregnancy test in the morning with 4 hours of urine (because after midnight I woke up and had to go to the toilet). The result was negative. Can the lack of a period be due to the fact that xa I took a lot of contraceptive pills?

Taking two pills on the same day, which happened several times in this cycle, does not affect the effectiveness of contraception and protection is preserved. However, it is possible to cause bleeding and spotting in the interim cycle or to delay bleeding in withdrawal. If you took the tablets at the appointed time of day, regularly and there was no vomiting or diarrhea - there is no reason to worry, protection is preserved. If you still have any doubts, in a few days you can do the pregnancy test again.
