Can I wean Erdomed and give Grintuss in return?

Good morning, the son has been hoarse since Friday, yesterday there was a cough. It is rather dry, but in the morning it coughs up a little. The doctor prescribed nebbud and erdomed. But I have the impression that after erdomeda coughs worse because there is nothing to cough up. Can I wean it and give it grintuss?
