Famogast is a drug from the group of H2 receptor antagonists, the active substance of which is famotidine. The drugs Controloc and Ortanol max belong to the proton pump inhibitors, they contain pantoprazole and omeprazole, respectively. The effect of the action of these drugs is to reduce the secretion of hydrochloric acid. Preparations differ in active substances, mechanism of action and indications for use.
