Is it normal for me to have watery vaginal discharge even though I use contraception?

Good morning, I have been experiencing watery vaginal discharge for several days. Is this normal? I thought that when using hormonal contraception, the secretion should be thick.

According to the available information, the use of contraceptive pills inhibits the secretion of mucus in the cervix. However, it does not affect the secretion of mucus produced by the vaginal mucosa. Therefore, the watery secretion present in you may be mucus secreted by the vaginal mucosa. If the discharge has an additional unpleasant smell, you should consider the occurrence of an intimate infection in you. You can read more about the types of intimate infections at the following link: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/infekcje-intymne In case of particularly severe symptoms, it would be advisable to contact a gynecologist.
