Is it normal that after taking Limetic contraception for a long time there is no bleeding and if it is very rare? Hello, please advise because I have been taking birth control pills for about a year and since then bleeding is very rare or not at all. Is it healthy for the body? However, the uterus must somehow cleanse itself.

Vaginal bleeding may occur at irregular intervals while taking Limetic. They can be in the nature of mild spotting or more intense bleeding. Bleeding may also not occur at all. This is normal and not a cause for concern. Irregular bleeding is not a symptom of a decrease in the contraceptive effectiveness of the drug - of course, provided that you take the pills correctly. If this is what you are doing, then there is no need to take any action and you should continue to use Limetic. Bleeding from the genital tract during menstruation or during the use of hormonal contraception is the result of exfoliation of the endometrium under the influence of hormonal stimuli. Under the influence of desogestrel (the active ingredient of Limetic), thinning of the wall of the endometrium occurs - its growth is limited. If there is no bleeding, it is generally because of this. There is no "contamination" of the inside of the uterus in any way, and the lack of bleeding does not threaten your health.
