Can I be pregnant if I don't know when my Ginoring disc fell out?

Hello, I use a ginoring vaginal disc. A week after menstruation, I noticed blood on the IUD and that the disc was not in the vagina. I am not able to judge when it fell out. Can I be pregnant in this case? What can such a slight spotting/bleeding mean?

If it is not known how long the Ginoring disc remained outside the vagina in the first or second week of use, there is a risk of pregnancy. In order to provide contraceptive protection, it is recommended to put on a new disc and use an additional method of contraception for the next 7 days. If you noticed the prolapse of the disc in the 1st week of use, all intercourses performed also during the 7 days preceding the loss of the Ginoring system remain unprotected: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96195/ginoring-przyrzad/apteki Spotting may be the result of disc prolapse, this is the so-called spotting / withdrawal bleeding. I encourage you to take a control pregnancy test at least 10-14 days after the last unprotected intercourse. This will allow you to exclude a possible pregnancy. You can read more about which pregnancy test to choose in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic
