How much should I take PPIs when eradicating Helicobacter pylori?

Hello, I do not know in what amount I should take PPIs before eradicating helicobacter pylori. The doctor prescribed me: 1) metronidazole 0.25g 2 op. after 20 tab( morning, noon, evening) 2) amotaxi 1g 1 op. after 20 tab( morning, evening) 3) IPP 0.02g 2 op. after 28 tab( morning, evening) 1 and 2 take 10 days, PPI a few days longer. Should you take 2 tablets of PPI in the morning and evening or 1 each?

PPIs should be used as directed by your doctor, not otherwise. The dosage is selected individually for a given disease and the current state of health of the patient, so in your case it should be determined by the doctor. According to current medical literature, the eradication scheme of H. pylori provides for the intake of PPIs 2 x a day. In case of complicated duodenal ulcers, it is recommended to increase the dose.
