After what time to take a pregnancy test?

When is the best time to take a pregnancy test? The last month I had 25 to 29 July I had intercourse 21 August a few days before the next month but unfortunately it is already dtugi week I did a pregnancy test this Friday came out negative or too early I did it? Did it come out correctly and the month is the reason for something else? Thank you in advance for your reply

Pregnancy tests give fully reliable results if they are done at least 14 days after intercourse. You can repeat the test to make sure that the previous result was correct.
