How big is the risk that I could get pregnant?

Good morning. I have been using ginoring discs for over a year. Once I happened to use it 4 weeks so jk is allowed but this time I twisted something and instead of 4 weeks I wore 5 and had sex with my husband. After that time, when I pulled out, I got a period and then I put on another disc and rozniez wspolzylismh after a few days. How big is the risk that I could get pregnant?

A system left in the vagina for more than 4 weeks may not properly protect against pregnancy - the amount of hormones may already be insufficient to block ovulation. In such a situation - according to the documentation of the drug - before setting up a new vaginal therapeutic system, you should contact your doctor. The leaflet no longer contains other patient guidelines. However, if after 5 weeks you removed the disc and there was bleeding, it indicates that there was no pregnancy in the previous cycle. If this were the case, bleeding should not occur. However, you did not contact the doctor, but took a "full-time" break, put on a new album and had sex during this time. In my opinion, in order to be sure that the contraception is preserved in this situation, an additional method of contraception should have been used for at least 7 days with a new disc. It could also be beneficial to skip the break and set up a new system right away - in consultation with the gynecologist. Since, as I mentioned, the Ginoring documentation in the described case refers the patient to the doctor, there is no information about the risk of pregnancy in this situation. The duration of use of the system does not matter for the risk of pregnancy - it can appear even after many years of proper use, if the patient makes a mistake resulting in the unblocking of ovulation in a given cycle.
