If I have an increased resting heart rate after increasing my dose of Saxenda, should I stop taking the medicine?

I've been taking Saxenda for a month now. Of course, I started with a dose of 0.6, now on the 10th day I am on a donor of 1.8 mg. I have had an elevated heart rate for 3 days (approx. 96 at rest). I have paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (after ablation) and I take Betaxolol 20 mg to lower my heart rate (constantly). Should I consider stopping the Saxenda treatment or holding it? Body weight drops and I am satisfied (before bariatric surgery)

The observed side effect should be reported to the doctor. Perhaps the specialist will decide to increase the dose of the drug more slowly. According to the manufacturer, "In patients with clinically significant, long-term increases in heart rate at rest, treatment with liraglutide should be discontinued." Therefore, it is worth consulting a doctor as soon as possible.
