Hello. Is it possible for the Kyleen IUD to move during a manual examination of the abdomen by a doctor or during an abdominal ultrasound? Additionally, will a standard abdominal ultrasound show the location of the IUD?

The presence and location of the IUD will certainly be shown by an ultrasound examination of the uterine cavity by a gynecologist. Abdominal ultrasound allows you to assess the organs within the abdominal cavity, m.in liver, bile ducts, pancreas, kidneys, intestines, spleen, large blood vessels, retroperitoneal space. It can be targeted at the specific system from which the symptoms occur. In my opinion, the doctor performing such an examination will not look for and describe the IUD if he is not a gynecologist - after all, such a question should be asked to the person performing the ultrasound. In my opinion, neither ultrasound nor normal palpation of the abdomen will move the Kyleen IUD. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przygotowac-sie-do-wizyty-u-ginekologa https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przygotowac-sie-do-badan-obrazowych
