What if I take Augmentin on the 6th day and there is no improvement?

Since Friday I take the antibiotic Augmentin twice a day, every 12 hours, today is Wednesday or it is the 6th day when I eat the antibiotic, and the symptoms still persist, the pain does not stop. Does this mean that the antibiotic did not work? I would like to add that after the antibiotic nothing happens, there are no undesirable effects.

To @Klaudia: Since Augmentin is a prescription drug, your doctor should decide whether to stop the therapy. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use teleadvice here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja

So stop taking an antibiotic? Should you still overstate as the doctor recommended?

If after 6 days of using the antibiotic Augmentin you do not observe any improvement, it would be advisable to go to the general practitioner to modify the therapy. Most likely, the microorganism that causes your disease is insensitive to this antibiotic. More information about rational antibiotic therapy can be read in the article linked below: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/fakty-i-mity-o-antybiotykach
