Should menstruation be less abundant after just one tablet of Limetic?
Good morning, The doctor prescribed me limetic for very abundant and long teddy bears (9 days) with clots. I took the first pill yesterday when I got my period. My laundry is whether after the first tablet the period should weaken or will it be as always? So far, it is just as abundant and with clots.

Sometimes patients report a very rapid change in the bleeding profile after starting to use contraception (even in the first cycle), but this is not a rule and in my opinion you can not expect that after the first tablet you will definitely feel a decrease in bleeding. Limetic contains a hormone that will cause the endometrium to grow to a limited extent, so there will not be as much tissue that can exfoliate in the form of bleeding. In the extreme case, when taking Limetic, bleeding may not occur at all. However, it should be noted that the disadvantage of using Limetic is the occurrence of irregular bleeding from the genital tract when taking tablets. However, there is a physiological menstruation.
