Is contraceptive protection maintained if I had diarrhea at night?
Hello. Do the tablets stop working if at night from Saturday to Sunday (second package, first week) I had diarrhea. In the morning I took a pill at the same time and another tablet against diarrhea?

If you took the pill in the morning and diarrhea occurred at night - the drug has already been absorbed and contraception has worked properly. Taking antidiarrheal drugs, such as Stoperan or Nifuroxazide, does not affect the effectiveness of the tablet. If you took activated charcoal or Smecta along with your morning contraceptive pill - then the effect of the drug may be disturbed and contraception may not have worked properly. In such a situation, an additional contraceptive pill should be taken about 4-5 hours after antidiarrheal drugs.
