Good morning, I have been using ZOLOFT for 4days 75mg. Previously, I used Sertranorm 50mg for two months. In addition, propranolol 2x10mg. I have a decrease in libido and the inability to reach orgasm during intercourse. However, when I try myself - after a long time, but it works. Do I have a chance that after discontinuation of the drug everything will return to normal?

I fully recovered everything 2 years after the end of taking Zoloft. I think it's individual. Gradually, but it recovered.

Such a medicine is Wellbutrin XR (or its equivalents containing the same active substance). The decision to treat with this preparation is made by a psychiatrist. Wellbutrin XR has a different mechanism of action than Zoloft.
and what kind of drug is it?

In this case, the point is rather that the disorder may persist longer than would be implied by the effect of the drug (even after discontinuation). There is a drug on the market with anxiolytic and antidepressant effects, which does not have a negative effect on sexual function, but shows a slightly different mechanism of action than Zoloft. On the occasion of your next visit to the doctor, you can discuss this topic and other treatment options.
Thank you for the information. And if, for example, it does not succeed to make everything come back, what are the treatment methods?

Sexual dysfunction is a common side effect of Zoloft. According to the information contained in the leaflet - in some cases such symptoms may persist even after discontinuation of the drug, but this is rather sporadic. In most cases, the situation returns to normal after about a few weeks from the end of the treatment. Learn more: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/86304/zoloft-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/71930
